EQIP Grant Funded for High Tunnel
Greens Fork, IN - April, 26 2018 - The EQIP (Environmental Quality and Incentive Program) Grant is a managed by Natural Resources Conservation Service of USDA. Locally it was managed by Wayne County Soil and Water Conservation.
High tunnels are unheated, plastic-covered structures that provide an intermediate level of environmental protection and control compared to open field conditions and heated greenhouses. $7,328.00 was funded to cover the costs with building and installing the high tunnel kit.
