I was searching for broody chicken tractor plans, and I couldn't find any. I decided to research what a Broody hen likes and built one based on my findings. They like dark safe places to sit on the eggs.
I wanted to make it cozy so she wouldn't have to go far for food and water. I also wanted to make a waterer that both hen and baby chicks could use on day one. The goal is to let her hatch out the eggs and then move the chicken tractor so they all can get fresh grass every few days (baby chicks won't soil the grass too quickly). This can also be used to help introduce a chicken into a flock so older birds can see and get used to the chicken before reintroducing fully.
